Deschutes County utilizes Point & Pay Corporation as our third-party payment service provider. Through them, the county can accept credit cards, debit cards or eCheck™ payments. Deschutes County does not collect or retain any portion of the convenience fees charged by Point & Pay Corporation.
Deschutes County does not issue refunds for payments processed via Point & Pay Corporation. If you have a question about charges made to your account, please contact the Tax Office.
- Debit Cards: Visa and Mastercard debit cards will be charged a flat fee of $3.95 per transaction. For all other debit cards, a convenience fee of 2.5% of the payment amount will be charged (with a minimum fee of $2.00).
- Credit Cards: A convenience fee of 2.5% of the payment amount will be charged (with a minimum fee of $2.00).
- eChecks: A convenience fee of $2.00 per transaction will be charged (up to $500,000). Anything over $500,000, a $20.00 fixed fee will be charged.
